“David & Goliath”

A one Act play with a cast of thousands! Okay, there were only 3 actors, but you have to
 use your imagination.

Starring:
   Dastardly Douglas as ... Goliath the Terrible
    Beth the Brave as ........... David the Dutiful
    Sheek Shannon as ........... Good King Saul

“You can’t beat me!  Nyah!!!”

“Is there not ONE among you that will fight me? If you win, the Philistines will be your slaves.  But if I win, the Israelites will be OUR slaves!  Ha Ha Ha!”

“Goliath, I, David, will fight you ... after
I have finished my chores.  And I will fight you with nothing more than my
hand-carved catapult, a little rock and
the righteousness of God!”

And that is exactly what happened!
David fired a rock mightier than a rocket and Goliath fell to the ground with a echoing  ‘thud.’
David slew the mighty Goliath and proclaimed his victory!

“VICTORY!  Hazaah!!”

And all the people (the cast of
thousands I mentioned earlier) came forth from their homes, their shops and factories to share in the great victory with David ... the boy who slew a giant!

“Hooray for David!
Hooray for David!”
