by Miss M. Crombie of Goval,  1916.

The church’s stained glass window was a gift to the church from Miss M.  Crombie of Goval.  It was dedicated on 10th April 1916, by the Rev. Professor Henry Cowan to the Glory Of God and to the memory of her father and mother, Mr and Mrs James Crombie and sister Catherine.

The window was created by artist  Douglas Strachan .

The two main panels feature the figure of St. Machar and the Virgin Mary. St. Machar holds his staff against the background of a bend in the River Don opposite St. Machar Cathedral.
